Hiding an app on iPhone means more than moving it to a folder. With LockApps you can make selected apps disappear entirely from the Home Screen, the App Library and Spotlight search, so no one browsing your phone knows they exist.
Hide apps on iPhone, step by step
- Open LockApps and enter your passcode on the calculator, then press = to open the vault.
- Tap App Hide.
- Tap Select Apps and grant Screen Time permission if prompted.
- Choose the apps you want to hide and confirm.
The selected apps immediately disappear from your Home Screen. They aren't deleted — your data and settings stay intact, they're just invisible until you bring them back inside LockApps.
Why apps stay truly hidden
LockApps uses Apple's official Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to hide apps at the system level. Because the disguise app itself looks like a calculator, even the tool you use to hide apps is hidden in plain sight.
Show a hidden app again
Open LockApps, go to App Hide, and toggle the app back on. You can temporarily reveal an app for a few minutes and it will re-hide automatically.
